The History of BECKMANN BIO

Founded in 2008

BECKMANN BIO s.p.r.l. was founded in January 2008 by Dr. Max Beckmann in Waterloo, Belgium. Max, a native German and a trained biochemist, who worked within the pharmaceutical industry for more than 18 years, focused during his time working for major pharmaceutical companies on the commercialization of innovative drugs on a national, regional and global level.

Since the beginning BECKMANN BIO has been supporting

major pharmaceutical companies as well as
biotech companies

by developing

marketing strategies
organizational structures

for product introductions.

The consultants of BECKMANN BIO also support daily commercial activities where and when the needs arise.

2009

BECKMANN BIO moved into larger offices in an office park in Hoeilaart close to Brussels.

2010

BECKMANN BIO hired the first permanent employee although the business concept is based on outsourcing and the business model is best described as a virtual one.

BECKMANN BIO implemented audio/video meeting equipment to ease the remote working model on an inter-continental basis.

BECKMANN BIO developed its first own projects for the industry to demonstrate its expertise and to provide additional input into the market and product development in specific therapeutic areas.
