The consultants working at and with BECKMANN BIO have gathered a wealth of experience in their former jobs as well as throughout different projects conducted for clients. Based on this experience and our own market surveillance we identify opportunities of interest for single companies as well as for parts of the industry. In the later case we develop the project on our own and promote the idea to several companies to bring the benefitial project forward on a joint basis.

Currently BECKMANN BIO promots the idea to gather better patient insight from patients suffering from hereditary angioedema (HAE), a potentially severly disabilitating chronic disease that is rare and therefore only few physicians and patients know about. Here BECKMANN BIO tries to gather the support from patient advocacy groups, medical and scientific experts in the field and interested manufacturing companies. Based on our experience in vaccinology and specifically in influenza BECKMANN BIO developed together with an industry partner a project to gather information on the burden of disease in young patients. This is to investigate in several countries, whether a recommendation of pediatric vaccination, like it is performed in Finland and the US to mention just 2 countries, makes also sense for other members of the European Union. This project is supporting a goal expressed by the WHO to achieve a high coverage throughout the general population as soon as possible.
